Welcome to The Rainbow Art Gallery.

We are very excited about our new site and what we are going to bring to you. Our goal is to feature great new and upcoming LGBT art and artists.

How did we come about? I am the author of a lesbian memoir called Lesbian Cafe. Through my Lesbian Cafe site and Lesbian Cafe account on twitter, I was continually being contacted by LGBT artist and being asked if a submission could be forwarded to me for my review. With all the requests I receive and my Lesbian Cafe site not set up to support LGBT artist to the full extent, The Rainbow Art Gallery was born.

There are so many talented LGBT artists and amazing LGBT art out there in the world and it is not getting the exposure that I believe it should have. I want to help show the world the talented people and art.

I want to also point one very important thing out.....
Our site says it presents LGBT Art & Artists, but the focus should be on the art and the artists and not their lifestyle. These artists are artists first, who just happen to be LGBT. The art might be LGBT art, but should be considered as art first.

The Rainbow Art Gallery is also committed to ensuring LGBT artists get exposure even if their art is not itself LGBT. We are about supporting our fellow LGBT brothers and sisters in their endeavor to be successful artist.
